Data Deletion Policy

Atmet is committed to respecting your right to control your personal data. This policy explains what data we store, how to request its deletion, and what happens after your request — in compliance with Meta's Platform Terms and applicable data protection standards.
How to Request Data Deletion
Submit a Request
Email privacy@atmet.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Include your registered email address and, if applicable, your business name.
Identity Verification
We will verify your identity within 5 business days to ensure we are deleting the correct account. We may ask for a confirmation reply from your registered email.
Deletion Completed
Once verified, deletion will be completed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the process is complete.
Self-Service Deletion
You can also delete your account directly from the dashboard: go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will immediately initiate the deletion process.
What Data We Store
- •Account credentials (email, hashed password)
- •Business profile information (business name, phone number, country)
- •WhatsApp conversation logs processed through our platform
- •Salla/Zid store integration data (orders, product catalog, customer metadata)
- •Usage logs and analytics data
- •Subscription and billing records (managed by our payment processor)
- •AI knowledge base and chatbot configuration you created
What Gets Deleted
Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete:
- ✓Your account credentials and login access
- ✓Your business profile information
- ✓All WhatsApp conversation logs stored on our servers
- ✓Your store integration data and configurations
- ✓Your AI knowledge base, chatbot configurations, and templates
- ✓All personal data associated with your account
Data We May Retain
Certain data may be retained after deletion for the following legally required purposes:
- •Financial and billing records required for tax and accounting compliance (typically 7 years, per Saudi tax law)
- •Transaction records retained by our payment processor, subject to their own data retention policy
- •Anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot be traced back to you
- •Data required to investigate fraud or legal claims where we have a legitimate legal basis
WhatsApp / Meta Data
Atmet processes WhatsApp message data through the WhatsApp Business API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Requesting deletion from Atmet removes data stored on our servers. However, Meta may independently retain data related to your WhatsApp Business account under their own data policies.

Payment Data
All payment processing is handled by our third-party Merchant of Record payment processor. Billing and payment records held by our payment processor are subject to their own data retention policies. To request deletion of payment data, please contact our payment processor directly through the billing portal linked in your account dashboard.
